OK..after like, months, I've finally got a little bit of free time to sit down and start this thread. Here is what all I have:

-125g Glass Auarium w/ dual corner overflows
-DIY stand and hood - All solid oak and sprayed a deep mahogany (result is a dark cheerry finish) doors not completed yet
-Pressurized CO2 (5lb using Red Sea 500 diffuser)
Substrate:
-75lb Flourite / 60 lb small natural gravel on top
-Lighting:
4 10,000k 115watt set on timers on-7a / off-8p
-Filtration:
#1 -55g sump/refugium (floss/filter media/bio ball drip, 2 cups of crushed coral bag, 10lm small natural gravel, java moss, sm driftwood, misc palnts)
#2 -Plen Plax Cascade 1500 canister filter
Bio Load:
-8 neon tetras
-6 black skirt tetras
-2 Killies
-2 long finned zebra danios
-6 mystery snails (2 yellow, 2 blue and 2 white)
Plants:
Swords, wysteria, hornwort, dwarf hairgrass, pennywort, java moss, and ??

Water Cond:
-temp 76.3 / 75 (day night)
-ph 7.4
-KH 3
-ammonia 0
-nitrates 0 (20%-30% wc twice per week and 2 80% wc since the beginning)
-CO2 approx 2-3 bubbles per second (just barely keeping the indicator in the green)

So far, the only problems that I have run into was a bright green slime algae prob (removed 80% water and scraped the rear glass clean - no prob since) and this blasted cloudy water (I am guessing bact. bloom) that I've had since the beginning).

ok..some pics:

BK828 - yes...the water pretty much remains that way...although it gets worse q day or two after each w/c

everyone else :) I did not know that Killies munch neons......guess I/ll be putting the neons in the refugium..

How long has this tank been running? Doesn't seem like it should be that cloudy now.

Nice killies. I have 4 just like it!

You need more danios, 2 is not a school :grinno:. But do the golden wonder killis eat them? I'm not sure .

Is the cloudiness from the flourite getting stirred up? Do you rearrange things often?

Rbishop - I didnt think it should be like this either. the tank has been up and running for right at 2 months now

fishorama - yeah, i agree that more danios are needed...especially since I had to move my neons to the refugium. The danios are a bit larger than the neons...maybe the killies will leave them alone. ...and they havent even touched the neons so far
