Me too! My hubby and I comute together and when we get home I start cooking.
I once told him he should cook and he said that was the meanist thing I ever said! Actually he does cook accssionly, If he has the day off he'll SOMETIMES
cook. Usally just chicken and beans, or a vegatable like corn or carrots. He wont go thru the trouble of making mashed potatoes or rice.

I live with my brother and his girl. We are all 1/2 itallian and have "that gene" that makes greesers good cooks. We sometimes fight over who get's to cook on any given evening.

*sigh* I'd love to have a BF that cooks. His best attempts are sidekicks, and chicken fingers. Most of the time he goes hungry or eats junk food I'm not there to cook for him (he lives 2 hours away) and he's too lazy to cook for himself or go food shopping, lol.

His dad is a professional cook and is awesome, but I guess that gene didn't get passed down :p

Its a mutual symbiosis :D I cook, he cleans. I made thanksgiving dinner, he made my apartment beyond sparkling clean. Anyway, he's learning.

I cooked in restaurants (everything from McDonald's to the Hilton) for 8-1/2 years. During that period (and for a few years more) I did the majority of the cooking at home. Currently I'm working 2 jobs. I usually leave the house around 7 am and get home around 9:30 pm. That doesn't leave me much time to cook anymore. I do usually cook a meal or two on Sundays, but that's about it right now.

I just choose not to. True it is my choice, and call it laziness if you will. But I'm not going to cook for just myself or whatever person is over. I've been married, done the whole house thing - and now I like eating out. :D
