Hello all :)

Im looking at upgrading my 5.5G tank later this year and wanted to run some ideas by you all for setup. I found this great tank which would look awesome running along the back of my desk behind my computer. I will build a little "pedestal" for it to raise it up high enough so when the laptop is closed the tank will be in full view. The tank is a rimless 36L*8.5W*9.5H, so I will be using a Coralife F/W T5 Aqualight(42watts), mostly due to the fixtures narrow profile. For substrate I will be using a base of peat moss mixed with some Jobes Fern&Palm fert spikes toped with a bag of Caribesea Suset Gold sand. I hope to not have to mess with CO2, I would prefer to dose Excel as I already dose it on my 100G. The livestock Im planning are 8 Chilli Rasboras, Cherry shrimp, couple of otos, some nerites and maybe a couple of scarlet badis. For filtration Im thinking of an Eheim 2213, I would probably connect 2 spray bars together so that there would be good circulation in the tank and it would cut down on current.

With this said, what plants would you guys recomend? I will definatly be adding a C.lutea and some petite anubias....otherwise Id like to try something different and stear clear of fern. Id love to give blyxa or dwarf hair grass a try if possible.

Sure, here is a stock photo of the tank Im getting:
