135 Almost done!

It was great! I live about an hour away from them. I called on a Friday night,(8:30) hoping to get a answering machine about their hours. A man actually answered the phone. They were closed on the weekends. He told me to come on Saturday and look around! It's not a big fancy place at all. The tanks are all built in a big out building. I couldn't believe all the big tanks he had in there. He gave us a little tour of some of tanks that he was building for some major university's and museums. He was a really nice older man.
Over all when I called around to get prices for 125's they ranged anywhere between $1000 to $1500 for tank,stand,and canopy. My tank, stand and canopy cost about $450.(the work my husband put into it, priceless):evil_lol: It's kinda funny that you can get a 125 from them for $300 or you can get the 135 for $303. I chose to give the extra $3.

Awesome tank and fish!!
Just a suggestion on the black background. I think the black background will make it more difficult to see black angelfish, or any fish with black in them. My suggestion would be a dark hunter green or a dark midnight blue. The black fish show up better in those colors.

Thanks for the compliment catnipgal! My LFS doesn't carry any of those colors. Any suggestions on where I can find them?
We're looking in to building in a couple of years. The head ache it gives me now just planning I can't imagine what you're going through!!!:evil_lol: You have to post pictures when your done!!
Thanks! Will do. Maybe I can carve out some space for a fish room in the basement - At the very least You and Vader have pretty much sold me on a stand and canopy set up for the living room!
