135 Gallon Build...

Here is the back of the frame being dry fit. As you see if you look closely, some of the vertical members are not flush with the horizontals. I marked those pieces and fixed that so they are flush now.

At the far left is my 20 long emersed growing tank. I will be making a small stand for it soon to get it off my work bench and out of the garage.
Also you see the dust collector at the right and the dust separator in the middle on the trash can. There are not any hoses connected to the separator yet, just on the table saw (not pictured).

looking good, i just looked at ur user pic, and stuff, and saw it said manzanita supplier, so do u ship/sell DW, I would be interested, cuz i live in CA too, San Jose

Thanks. I do sell manzanita. I have one package currently up for sale in the classified page. It may be on page 2 or 3 by now though. It is a big package but ready to go. Unfortunately I do not have any stumps at this time but have a very large supply readily accessible whenever I need more.

Here is the stand being dry fit together. I do have a question, or a poll really. Should I run a flush trim bit around the ends of the frames to even out the lap joints? I made it so they would be just proud of the frame. I think it would look better and by doing so the ply covering would fit more snug. The only down side is I would have to go buy a 1.5" flush trim bit. This thing really adds up.

Also, you can notice the top has warped a bit. I may have to invest in a good amount of shims or do something else to compensate. Suggestions, please.

Lookin good!

Work on the stand has come to a pause for the moment due to a new addition to the shop. I received a Porter Cable Table Saw (PCB270TS) as an early Father's Day gift from my old man. I have been doing the setup/tuning over the last week when I get a moment here and there. Picked up two 4'x8' 3/4" ply birch veneer for either this build or the 20 gal long cabinet build.
Also, my dust collection for my router and router table crapped out due to defective 4" clear hose from Rockler. The table saw and floor sweep collection is fully operational which is great.
Next step is to trim the frame joints with the new flush trim bit and check everything for plumb and square.
Thanks for checking in.
