I did a re-scape on this tank. The wood was to tall in my 40 Breeder but fit in this tank much better.

I picked up some anubias nano and pygmy corydoras. I glued the anubias on some small black stones I had and placed them in spots that felt empty. I also got my sponge filter working again, had to constantly fight the tubing to get on the sponge filter.

Nice rescape! Should get my own boi soon and I have a nice plan for his tank already!
May I ask what heater are you using? Seem like I will have to get a new heater soon so. The tank is 30cm high ish and I wanted to place it like you have it ?

The heater is a 100w Aqueon heater. It’s from when I had a 20 gallon long tank. It does a good job keeping the tank at 82°F.

82 F is 28 C right? Correct me if I’m wrong ?
I heard that bettas should be kept at 26 C and higher temperatures shorten their lives..

Bettas prefer 76-84°F. (24-28°c) The betta in the tank is actually very active and he is kept with Cardinal Tetras, Galaxy Rasboras, pygmy corydoras and snails. Haven’t had any problems and I keep an eye on him.
