150 Gallon Build Thread ... From the Start

Awesome, let me know how the replumb works. At the end of the day, you'll really appreciate having the reactor (and your plants will love you for it).

It would be much easier (emotionally - lol) to re-plumb if I already knew the sterilizer was water tight. To re-plumb the reactor and get it dialed in only to find the sterilizer leaks would be a big kick in the n**s!

On the up side - I did, however, check and double-check the sterilizer. Using plenty of teflon tape and brass fittings as per your suggestion.

My mistake on the reactor was in thinking the top and bottom were solid plastic - sealed if you will. Not examining them enough to know they could be removed (unscrewed) and should have been checked for tightness before and after the install and again before the water. My mistake - and certainly one I don't want to make again!

I hope the 2nd run goes better on the equipment. Take the wife out for a nice dinner and she'll get over the misshap a lot faster, LOL!! The wood and plants look great already. Can't wait to see how it looks once you place things the way you really want them.

The grow out should be awesome!
