From Vader's pics it looks like the back only has a couple of supports / cleats.
Vader - is there a place to attach the ballast to the outside back of the canopy?
drvader how big is that piece of wood above the fans?

It depends on how big the ballasts are.... you're correct that the back is simply some thin strips of wood at the top bracket and support cleats. There is not a lot of real estate for the attachment of anything on the back itself.
Feels like that wheel is still kinda' flat (only on one side though - lol). Thanks again for the support and valuable input!!!
