150 Gallon Build Thread ... From the Start

No real ETA yet - still just taking it as it comes (lol)!! Hopefully, the canopy will go a bit quicker. Actually, I am enjoying the "build" - gluing and screwing!

It's certainly heavy (wow)!!
:cool-1: Nice thing about it is that it turned out clean with no clutter. After it's finished up all the supports, 2x4s, etc will fade into the distance ...
I actually wouldn't have known another way to build it.

not only is it going to look better, its going to be a lot stronger too.
the laminate materials the prefab stands use are great..for a few years..
I have had to take apart two big stands during my time at the LFS from water damaged laminate stands..that type of material is very strong when dry, not very strong when it gets wet, swells and expands....
