The heaters sound great. Not really familiar with eheim fitlers I use rena i've seen on the 2128 is 280 gph which IMO is not enough for a 150 with oscars.

For fish I have 1 Oscar (12"), 1 Silver Dollar9^"), 3 Kadango (5"), 1 Gibbiceps Plec (4") in a 100.
In my 90 I have 1 Oscar (13"), 1common plec (12"), 1 Pink Convict (4.5"). You have a 150 tall. With it being 6Ft long you have plenty of room.
I have a 150 wide which is 72x24x20 (Not 72x18 as yours is). I had both of my oscars in it with room to spare. The Oscars wouldn't get along so I split them into smaller tanks.
Any fast fish (i.e. Silver Dollar) or semi-aggressive fish might work but it all depends on the Oscars. Forget about plants. Oscars like to redecorate.

I've got two large Oscars, a 12" bullhead cat and four other 5-6" cichlids in a 125 and they are doing fine.
You will need more than the 2128 for filtration IMHO. The Oscars are very messy fish. I have a Cascade 1200 rated at 315 gph and a Hot Magnum Pro rated at 250 GPH running now. I just ordered a Rena XP4 rated at 450 gph. I may retire the Magnum and just run the 1200 and XP4. We'll see.
I run two 250w heaters but just ordered two Hydor 300w inlines. See here for heater sizing recommendations:

I have Oscars in my 125 and I filter it with an AC 110 and a fluval FX5. I have the same heaters as you want to get and I've never had a problem 
Ok, i Do have a FX5 that I'd bought a while ago for another project that never came to pass so i guess I'll add that. Would the combination of the 2 filters suffice?
I think I'll start with 3 silver dollars, then when there settled in and good sized add the Oscars, then maybe a catfish yet to be determined.
