Well...I'm finally glad to see the forum back up and running. A$$hole kids...thinking they're cool cause they're "hackers"!

Anyway...just an update. My 150gal. is up and going. I finally got my sump running...it was easier than I had thought it was gonna be. Fish are doing fine, and thankfully, after 3 weeks, my baby Banded Cat Shark ate for the first time today.

I never thought I'd have a tank this big. :D Everytime I walk by it, I cant help but get a big grin on my face. My girlfriend thinks I'm retarded.

I wish I could get some pics up, but I have no digital camera. Does anyone know a good one for around $200-$250?

I am dying to see the tank. Maybe posting over in GCC will get some info about good, inexpensive cameras.

I love my Canon Powershot G3, but I think it's a few hundred more.

Well...I came home from work, today, to find my shark dead. :sad
Rigamortis hadn't set in, so he must've died shortly before I got home.

I didnt have him long (since hatching 3 weeks ago) but had already become quite attached and I'm actually upset about this. My girlfriend and I affectionately called him Jaws.

He started eating, last night, for the first time. But, I guess it wasnt soon enough.

I dont know if I want another shark now. There arent many other (if any) types of sharks you can put in a 150gal. tank, other than Banded Cats.

Jaws's tankmate, a Scopas Tang, is still doing really well and has already grown since I got him (3 weeks ago, with the shark). So, we'll see what else I decide to put in there. I'm thinking either a Panther Grouper or a Dog Faced Puffer (or Panda Puffer if I can find one).

I've checked and re-checked all tank specs...everything is perfect. The Scopas Tang that was in with the shark is doing just fine, although...I think he's looking for the shark. They got to be friends, I think. They would sleep under the same rock together, etc. Today, the Tang was going from rock to rock, looking underneath and then on to the next rock...I think looking for the shark. :sad
