155 Gallon do I have enough filtration???

Ok I am new to forum and I havent had fresh water fish in ten years so this is what I have

200 Gallon Pro clear wet/dry filter
aqua clear cap-5000 power head at 5feet should be 981 gph?
magna 350 canister filter
also have rena Filstar XP4 Canister not hooked up have to find all the parts
38 watt uv light
no fish yet doing a fishless cycle no sure what fish i want

do you know how many GPH the wet dry puts out? id imagine that would be enough along with the canister, but i would like to make sure.

ok according to web site and box it should do 900 gph if pump is true to flow chart....................:help:
I have this correct the height from filter to return so if its 5 feet should be 951 gph correct??

along with the canister and powerhead, that is enough filtration, but it wouldnt hurt to add the extra canister once you get all of the parts.

I agree. Keep an extra filter running. That way if something happens to one of your filters you still have enough filtration to maintain the quality of the water.

Yep the extra filter also helps if you have messy fish like cichlids or predator's.

So run all the filters i have 3 filters correct does the uv really work or just for looks on fresh water?
