My two fantails died... So I have cleaned out my lil ten gallon tank and starting again...

Do fantails get lonely if there is only one in the tank?

I don't even know if I want to get fantails or goldfish again, but they are so friendly so... I not sure if I can resist.

Suggestions for a 10 gallon revival?

I definately wouldn't put in goldfish in a 10 gallon! For 2 goldfish, you should be looking into a 30 gallon tank or something around there...

...for a 10 gallon, some livebearers would be nice with a small school of Danios of some sort and some corydoras to finish out the tank for a bottom level fish.

I'm so sorry about your goldies. i know how attached you were to them .

I also agree with AFG, goldfish and tanks less than 30 gallons don't mix. Why not try a betta tank? IME, betta's have alot of personality for a small fish. You could add a couple of corys and maybe some neons. That would look pretty sharp

My 10 gallon now houses 4 panda corys and 4 white cloud mountain minnows... I will probably add two more this week...
