1st Saltwater-Biocube 14 (Need Help)

The LFS staff said that they were just star polyps; I figured they were GSP, because when I turn the lunar light on, the star polyps turned bright green. I am new to this so who knows. I took the Xenia off the rock and moved it; I think the Blue Leg Hermits might have played a role as well, because they were always gathered around the live rock the Xenia was attached to. They might eat algae and keep the tank clean, but they are pain in the asses.

I added a Cleaner Shrimp, Emerald Crab, and Spotted Watchman Goby to the tank today; the Goby and Pistol Shrimp began burrowing immediately and the addition of the Goby has encouraged the Pistol to venture out into the open substrate in the tank. It was a very cool thing to observe.

Additionally, I purchased a Biocube 29 gallon as well; I know it is not much of an upgrade, but since I am now familiar with the Biocube setup, I wanted to stick to that particular brand. I also wanted a little more space for the livestock, but I will use the Biocube 14 gallon as a quarantine tank.

So far the Goby is the only fish in the tank, and even with the additional 15 gallons, I plan on limiting my tank to two (2) fish.

I live on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the balcony over looks the beach. I just noticed that I had the balcony doors open in the picture...good eye. I actually went diving the other day a took a little piece of live rock from the shore line. The piece of live rock I took has numerous feather dusters on it; lord only knows what else is going to come out of there.

By the way, there is a tube coming out of my live rock; it has been there since I bought it, but the other day I noticed something coming in and out of the tube. It had some stringy white stuff coming out of the hole similar to a spider web; I will try to get a picture soon. Any ideas what it might be?

Pistol Shrimp

Here is a picture of the pistol shrimp; he has rearranged the entire landscape of the tank even from the previous picture of the entire tank. All the hermit shells and small pieces of live rock are now under sand supporting his tunnel. Would make a good "What's missing from this picture comparison?"
