Its called genesis it removes only chlorline and metals.
Well, dunno what to tell you Tony. I've never heard of genesis. Although we pushed, Marineland would only agree that their brand of conditioner, BioSafe, and SeaChem's Prime are safe to use with Bio Spira.

They specifically said "no" to Amquel, but didn't give a reason. I'll check this genesis stuff on the web and see what's in it, but you probably should have followed the directions on the package and used BioSafe.

The lfs didnt carry bio-safe and there like the 2nd largest store in my area maybee because the genesis is there house brand made here in maryland. The girl was like "its ok to use with it".

I didnt do anything else besides before i used it i was doing a fishless cycle adding ammonia to the tank then before i seen about the whole bio-spira thing i did a 99% water change and went and got the fish and the bio-spira. Before i left i got the temps to 78 degrees.

Our tap water does have cholrine in it and the ammonia test is coming up yellow and yellow means 0

Even if the bio-spira dont work for me i guess ill have to do water changes more often then normal till it cycles its self. Is that would i should do?
