lol we drove all the way from queens. we were surprised we went without a hitch until we touched uptown. traffic was just dead after that, went local all the way. you guys are all near each other >_<

yep. that's where it was like. ... okay...let's go back home. LOL

i'm reading up on DSBs and am looking for where i can get blackworms and planarians.. i ask LFS guys and theyre like o_O. dixienut will provide trumpet snails for me (yaaayy!) so that's one lifeform in the system down.

any ideas where to get these worms online? found one mention on this forum but it's a pound for $27 shipped...and that was 1.5 years ago

hey just wanted to mention fishtown usa on northern blvd gets blackworms every week. $3 for a portion. just got my first batch last night. wanted to try putting some in my 55g (with loaches...and a lot of other fish) and put the little container.. in a bigger one.. and weighed the big one down with some rocks hoping they would burrow themselves in real quick.

lol after an hour or so the clown loaches started babysitting the plastic...and trying to burrow underneath it... crazy...

as for the 20g it looks like brown patches of grass lol wonder how long they take to burrow. dunno about flatworms and trumpet snails tho. it looks like there was one flatworm with the blackworms... it was a total anomaly and kinda freaky..
