2.5 gal betta tank

Nursie, sounds like a nice little tank :)
Have you considered going fully planted? I'm a huge fan of planted nano/pico tanks, they're loads of fun. While it's too small for a betta, I've got a 1g with ghost shrimp and ramshorns, planted with Anubias nana, Bacopa australis, Java moss and a few Echinodorus tenellus. It's got a Red Sea nano filter and a 13W PC desk lamp over it - if it was a 2 or 3g, I'm sure it would make a nice home for a betta :)

Hye just my $.02 But I have an a ADF and Betta in a small 2 gal eclipse with built in filter and a pencil heater. It's been doing great! I have 3 fake plants and a lil sandstone rock cave.

This is when I first set it up before the sandstone.
