sand, were doing pool filter sand, since its mostly java moss and driftwood and maybe some christmas moss, im doing to same tank build, were friends so were building the canopy monday
 
i don't understand.. you're building a canopy for a really small tank because the glass lid had no room for the filter.. why didn't you just cut a notch out for it to fit?

i'd also like to know, DON WON, where you got your betta. looks exactly like one i almost bought on aquabid the other day for my boyfriend. did you get it there?

no im not building the canopy just for the top thing, just for the look idk....im making a top outta acrylic for the filter to fit...lol my betta avatar isn't mine i just googled betta and found that
 
i see.. i guess that's cool then. haha, it'd certainly be easy to build something so small.
