2.5g nano journal..

cant find any cherries, and amanos cost 9 bucks each at petsmart.
ive been leeaving my tank sans light for a few days, except to take that picture.
I need more plants, some quicker growers that make a good backdrop,
and can grow quickly to compete with the algae, and i like the look of bacopa and rotala..
 
You'd be trimming weekly with the rotala, 2.5g tanks are too small for most stem plants. Good stem plant for small tanks are pearl grass (Hemianthus micranthemoides) or creeping jenny (Lysimachia Nummularia), the pearl grass tends to grow bushy rather than tall and the creeping jenny grows slower than most.
 
i can live with the trimmins, but i believe bacopa can be somewhat emersed as a i saw a tank with emersedd bacopa.

heres an update just got a new plant from my friend, unsure what it is but he has it by the tons in his tank...
after a no light treatment for a weak the plants fhair algae is starting to dissapear...
i will also invest in some excel eventually too
I need a plant id though
