2-6 Big fish for a 55g?

Discus fish are beautiful, if you're ok with the care requirements. Clown loaches have wonderful personalities, I'd buy them on the small size to start since a 55gal is pushing it for these guys.

I wouldn't do any big fish in a 55. Any fish that gets no more than 5-6" max would be the limit.

I agree with RB and would vote for severums.

Unfortunately, I sold the 55. But hope to get a 75g in the future. Thanks for all the help, though, will come back to this thread when I get a 75. ^.^
