2 co2 questions

you don't want to lower a 6.6 anyways

I am curious as to why you shouldn't go below 6.6. I have a drop checker with premade solution that turns green at 35ppm. I have my CO2 set to keep it there. My tank has a KH of barely 1. My PH test is always yellow, I think it is less than 6.0. As a matter of fact I am sure of it. All the fish look nice and healthy. I just do not think the PH drop from CO2 matters in the least, fish just don't care. They would be killed by CO2 poisoning long before you could get the PH low enough to effect them by CO2 injection.

I have a nutrafin test kit and I am getting a reading of 80mg/L how does that equate to the above table?
Any help would be great.
