2 Gallon Eclipse, any idea what to put in it ?

without a heater some white cloud minnows would be a good choice.

with a heater some dwarf puffers would work.

Slipknottin, can you really put more than one dwarf puffer in such a small tank? I thought they needed lots of room because they're feisty amongst themselves.

I also have a 3 gallon Eclipse I want to buy a heater for and if I can really have a couple of dwarf puffers, I'd be delighted.

The biggest problem with the dwarf puffers is to keep them well fed. They will do fine in a small tank. Try to keep to one gender, otherwise you'll have conflicts. My pair of males hang out, no chasing, no nipping. When the females were in there--it was a constant battle. The males ended up killing off the females. Males have yellow-ish tummies, girls tend to be white.

I'd avoid the danios--they tend to be active swimmers, and that small tank is going to be a whirlwind of movement. White clouds would do fine, as would pygmy cories.

Thanks, OG.

I'm going to order my heater from Big Al's today. Once it's past noon I get double VIP points.

When it arrives, I'm heading out to the LFS near my office to see about getting a couple of male dwarf puffers.
