thanks,
I'm taking everything really slow. I let at least two weeks time pass before I put in a new coral. Also i'm thinking about just doing coral fragments for now and watching them grow. I only have about 50lbs of live rock in the tank and plan to add at least 40lbs more. When I bought the coral beauty angelfish the store owners pleaded with me not to get it saying that it would eat any corals in the tank. It hasn't touched the few corals I have in there so maybe I got lucky.
thanks! I got this rock from Liveaquaria.com. It came with some coralline algae on it and it has just been spreading out all over the rock. here are some closer looks.
Nice tank
That coral beauty is gorgeous, looks very happy and healthy. Like Dave, I can envision every crevace in the rockwork stuffed with coral, it's going to look fantastic. I think it's great that you're going slow, that's something I have difficulty with sometimes. Very smart to isolate the GSP like that as well, it can get really invasive and grows like wildfire when you're not looking
