I'm currently keeping a 8" TSN in a 75 with a 3" albino tiger oscar. The fish do fine together. The TSN hides all day and only comes out when the oscar is sleeping. The only problem I've noticed is the oscar gets aggressive when I do a water change and attacks the feeders I put in if they are put in during lights on. Also the tank tha house the 2 has sand for substrate.

Make sure you have a hiding place for you TSN. They like to stay out of the light. And since you have 2 make sure both have an area to get away from each other. Mine spends all it's time hiding during lights on and only ventures out at night to eat. Also be careful about including a bunch of feeders at one time. Mine will eat up to 6 but I'm limiting it to 3 every 2 days and giving it beef heart in between. I don't know if it's getting it or not however since the tank also houses 3 upside down catfish.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Neal Pronek, in his Oscar "bible" for TFH (PS-687), "Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum...is one catfish that could easily turn the tables on an oscar, even a big one, for it is a large fish with a big mouth and a big appetite." I'm hoping that the TSN/Oscar tank setups are temporary, or else Pronek's warning (page 93) may just come true. Please keep this in mind.
