why? if a fish is aggressive, chances are it will be aggressive to it's tankmates. that is why they are called "aggressive". use logic, dude. and what's wrong with some of the more peaceful species? there are many peaceful AND large fish that you could do in that tank, like trinidad plecos and bichirs. if you still want to do AN aggressive fish, you might try a large cichlid like an oscar or a texas cichlid.

I wouldn't consider Texas cichlids or Oscars to be aggressive. I would call them territorial, but not aggressive.

On that note, Silver arowanas aren't aggressive anyway lol..

well yeah, that's what I meant. aggressive basically means territorial most of the time, so thinking you could keep a bunch of large, territorial fish in a 90G is silly.

and yeah, they aren't really too aggressive with other fish...

i say get an o, a spiny eel and a cool pleco :)

Just because fish are labeled "aggressive" doesn't mean that they'll kill each other.

pillzbury, I'd suggest looking into an African Butterfly Fish and some types of bichirs.

hey, I know, it's just that he shouldn't just get a bunch of aggressive fish that he knows nothing about and throw them in the same tank together. don't you think he'd have disaster fi he filled his tank full of different piranhas and pike cichlids?

an o, spiny eel and plec should be fine, as long as you dont get a tiretrack or fire eel(which imo cant fit in a 90g period) , and dont get a monster pleco, something around 8-12inches would be fine as long as you keep the water quality pristine, which means lotta wcs.

well.... if he got a peacock eel and a BN pleco, he could do both and not be overstocked.
