2 tanks of ungrateful fish :)

Wow, those are both beatiful!!

love all the plants and very clean too.
what are the grassy looking ones in the foreground of the 48 g tank please?
are you using co2 ?

I was wondering who the punching bag was in that first photo...
I'm glad you had somwhwere to put the Gourami (now who does the cichlid pick on?).

My dwarf gourami is a pig and part-time plant abuser too. He hits my cabombas & bacopas sometimes (can I borrow your keyhole?).

Are the huge plants in the larger tank swords? I like 'em bushy like that. My sword hasn't quite taken off yet...

"ungrateful fish"Yea,those fish look like they have it rough.J/K:clap: Very nice plants, and fish.

Very pretty! What is that fish in the middle in the second picture?

Blue Ram, see top of second page for a better pic.

Thank you, the grassy plant is dwarf sag. Yep I use 2 nutrifin co2 sets in both tanks and I am currently dosing Seachem Excel and Flourish.

Yeah they got on for about 8 months, but I guess the Keyholes matured and that was that. They have not started picking on anyone else yet, although they "move" the corys along at feeding time. The plants are amazon swords as you suspected, mine took a while to take off too but no stopping them now. I am planning on moving all the compatible fish into a single bigger tank later in the year, this also means it is not a big deal that the swords are getting too big in their current tank.

Thank you for the comments everyone it is nice to hear good things about your hobby :)

thanks for your answer
I might have a go at a planted tank
I have a few anubias and sword plants in an african tank but they get eaten
and plants cost too much as food :)
