2 types of heniochus?

i heard that theres 2 types of heniochus butterfly fish. one is suppose to be reef safe, the other is not. can someone explain please :help:.
i want to get the reef safe one.

You must be referring to H. acuminatus and H. diphreutes. The difference lies in the stripe. In H. diphreutes, the boundary between the black and white stripe will terminate at the tip of the anal fin. Also, H. diphreutes has a much broader, rounded breast area, as opposed to H. acuminatus.
