Please help with any ideas of what kind of fish would work for my situation. I have put something in there by tomorrow or my two fav girls are going to be mad
Most live things aren't nutritious/safe for your fish, unless brine shrimp maybe. I personally would go with angelfish/a school of smaller fish/corys, always a good mix, and readily available.
a fancy goldie, but then it would have to ditch any cichlids, and just go with tetras and a goldie, nice, colorfull, and peacefull, maybe even some mollies, or platys, and early is a good time to teach kids to not hit the glass.
You could do almost any tetra, i like bleeding heart ones, their larger bodied. I also like diamond tetras, VERYY pretty once they settled into their new home. You really should just go to your lfs and see what they have. Some mix angelfish/pearl gourmi's, but it depends on the fishes attitudes if they will get a lot, but pearl is usually the most peaceful.
Do those fish have personalities ?
Trust me I don't want her to hit the glass but it is inevitable that it will happen. I saw some cool needle nose fish in punta cana when I was on vacation but I read that they get spooked easily and hurt themselves by hitting the glass. I just want to prevent something like that
