20 gal high stocking

im inheriting a 20g high aquarium and was looking for some stocking suggestions. i already have a 20 gal long stocked w/tiger barbs,55gal w/various tetras and angels and a 55 african cichlid community.
i guess im out of ideas and i know that a high tank needs some different suggestions,,so if you all could throw some ideas my way id appreciate it!!

dwarf puffers or maybe some dwarf gouramis and some kind of tetras

Depends on how high it is. The 20 Gallon high tanks I've seen are usually 20x10x24H... If thats the case, even Angels wouldnt do bad in such a high tank (eventhough 20 Gallons doesnt seem much for Angels), however if you do get them; get like 6 small ones; when they pair off, keep the pair u like best and trade in the other 4. If you dont want them to breed then theres nothing to worry about.
