20 gallon-Big enough for 3 swordtails?

I think I can get a long one

So can any cories or shimp go in too?

You can add both corys and shrimp. However, fm swords will five birth about once a month and can drop upwards of 50 fry when mature. It takes about 3 months or so for babies to reach a point where they can spawn themselves. Fm swords can store the males sperm, so even if the male is removed there will be another 4-6 spawns.

Well could the two females live in the 20 gallon with corys or something and the swordtail in the ten gallon with something else or will the 10 gallon be not enough room to swim around

And how many cories could I get
unless i can get at least four I dont wanna get any

ok thanks, if I had known they got to 4 inches when I got them, I wouldnt have gotten them, but once I get a pet, its for life so even though I cant ge thte other fish I really want I guess ill have to deal with it(at least untill i get a larger tank, then I can stock the smaller ones)

Could I give it a try with a snail in there?
Absoulutly. My swordtail (named Lava Lightning:rolleyes: by my 6 year old brother) hasnt bothered my snailey once.
