i have a 20 gallon long in my garage and have the urge to set it up as a 3rd fish tank. i want to get some african dwarf frogs and glass catfish (right fish or sp?) or other cool looking fish. i am all for the frogs so they come in first priority. i dont want any mollies, goldfish or guppies because i already have em. i just want sum cool fish that would do well with the frogs, possibly schooling fish? also what would i do for algea and crap managment? cories, pleco, cae what?

catfish and adf's go well together. Its always hard to feed the frogs and the fish though because the fish often eat the frog's food. Myself, I would just get frogs and a couple of ottocincluses and skip the other fish part all together just because it would be easier to manage. THe ottocincluses would live off the algae in the tank, and then you only have to feed the frogs every second day. However, its up to you and maybe ur not as lazy as I am :)

And for the heater thing, that sucks. If you still have the peice I would just super glue it back on then be careful not to crank it to tight. If you don't have it, all i can think of is to buy suckion cups and some how attach them to the actual heater part inside your tank (perhaps with latex eleastics) then stick them to the glass. You'll probably find an easier way.

You should definitely put a ton of plants in...

Man! I had the same thing happen to my heater too!!!
