20 gallon long fowler what do i need ?

Looking at doing some fish and inverts only in either a 20 long or 15 long no sump tank only weekly water changes.

What do I need
heater
sand
salt
water (can I use tap? )
hydrometer
power heads (how many and what kind)
Do I need live rock if so how much ?
Do I need a over the back filter too?

Anything Im missing?

looking at a couple clowns and a goby, shrimps, hermits and snails

power heads (how many and what kind) ( You want about 500gph in there...So, a couple of maxijet 1200's would be fine>>
Do I need live rock if so how much ? <<Depends if you want to use a filter. If you want to go without a filter, you'll need about 1 - 1.5lbs per gallon of tank water>>
Do I need a over the back filter too? <<Depends, again, if you go with all live rock, then no, you dont need one. If you only have a small ammount of live rock, then yes, sure>>

Anything Im missing? <<Maybe add a skimmer if you can get a good priced nano skimmer. Lighting? what exactly are you planning on housing??>>

<<Sounds cool....if it was me, i would only stick to two fish...or maybe the clowns and real small nano fish>>
