Didn't get my plants yet. It is to freezing over in NY. Next week it will be normal temps not the crazy cold front we had this week.

Finally decided on my plant layout!!
The key to the plants:
January 25, 2013 Parameters:Ammonia: 1ppm (need 2 dose up)
Nitrites: 5ppm
Nitrates: 5ppm
pH: 6.6
After Dosing-Ammonia 4ppm

I'm on day 10 of my fishless cycle and still have the same water params as day one; 5, 0, 0.
I must have the most sterile city water EVER!.
Well... a good thing I guess.. unless you want fishtank beneficial bacteria.

Oh crap! My pH is too low!
Current Parameters:
Ammonia: 4ppm
Nitrites: 5ppm
Nitrates: 10ppm
pH: 6.4 (TOO LOW)
WATER CHANGE ASAP!

keep in mind the vals SPREAD FAST
by fast i mean...
with high lighting I went from 5 vals to over 100 in 2 months
with low lighting(std fluorescent lighting) I went from 5 to 15 in a month with some ferts(flourish excel + root tabs)...

Hygrophila Difformis, Wisteria
Didn't get dwarf hair grass. It was sold out. Its okay, I have enough green to play with for now.
