So, I'm feeling tacky, so I've decided to plan ahead and see what could work. Now, I know I'm going to have at least 4 Scarlet Badis, but in a 20gal could I have, say, 6 or 8? Also, I'm going to make this tank obnoxiously tacky, underwater volcanio, no fishing sign level tacky. Just to see what happens :D So, it's a 20gal, standard size (not long, not tall) with a penguin 200b filter on it right now. Some fake plants and a few log-type underwater ornamints. So, can I do 6 or 8 Scarlet Badis in a 20gal with lots of decor?
 
lol, your tackiness will be on par with the Finding Nemo tank :thm:
 
So, I was thinking for stock, as I no longer think that Scarlet Badis will be an option (unless they will breed in a taky tank) I was thinking

  • 4XMale Guppy
  • 1XFlame Dwarf Grouamis
  • 6XCardinal Tetra Or 6XHarlequin Rasbora
  • 2XAmerica Flagfish
Or of course the 8 Scarlet Gem Badis that was my original idea for this tank.

Here are samples of what I plan to use in the tank:
He he he, I have money, and it's burning a hole in my pocket... gonna go to a nearby fish store some time this week, see what they have to offer.

I think the stocking would work:)

I do totally the opposite of you, I have heavily planted tanks with a tiny no fishing sign:)
 
lol,c I'm doing this solely to see how tacky a tank I can build :D
