^Yep, just got myself the neon colored fake plants. I think the yellow and pink clash nicely. And that the blue and orange/red go against each other well. Still have more to get, and a rainbow bubble clam, as well as some extra neony and metalic plants. Maybe even fake corals for the fun of it!
^Dragon Castle, lol. Dragons are fish safe (have had them with fish before, though not these specific dragons) and the caslte is a tank-designated orniment.
I'm thinking the orange inside, green outside pot will look very nice in the tank, and with the twin dragons guarding it it's very tacky
I have 3 pots I plan to add, the tank is 20 gal, and the Badis will have plenty of hiding spaces for when they mate. I also plan glofish just to add to the tacky-ness and, at most, some male ballon mollies.
I know they are deformed, I've been here a while I don't see why they should pay for it. I get 4 or 5 males, they get to live their lives out happilly in a tank without passing on their genes, and thus making the total population just a tiny bit smaller. They have just as much a right to live happilly and in a healthy, non-aquarium store environment as normal mollies or guppies. So I'll get them and let them live happy lives until they die of old age, then I'll get some more, or maybe something new. Better then them going into a 5 gallon tank with 20 other fish and dying of the cycle and overstocking, or then them being stuck at the fish store all their lives.
By purchasing fish bred intentionally to be deformed you are encouraging people/companies to breed deformed fish. If that's your thing then cool, but balloon fish aren't tacky, they're just hideous. There is a difference.
