20 Gallon Tacky Tank

Oh Bob...

Anyways, I'm right with the people who view "balloon" varieties as abominations but each person has a line as to where they will cross with the amount of selective breeding they can tolerate. Your money, your tank.

That was low... There is, in my mind, a massive difference between geneticly altered and forcibly dyed. A massive difference. Now everyone's gonna write me off as a fish hater or something just because I see nothing wrong with genetic alterations... ah well.

Wasn't trying to be "low", but under your "just because humans screwed with it doesn't mean I don't want to buy it and give it a good life" stance, I didn't see any reason why you would be opposed to dyed fish...

And I didn't write you off as a "fish hater" ffs.... you just asked for tacky fish ideas, I gave you one...

i think mickey mouse pletys look pretty tacky

lol, they do look tacky. I'll see if I can find some males then.

Nice :D

Regardless of other details, the entire tank is temporarily on hold (dumb job not able to give me cash for my check after 8...) so I'll have to continue the tank later. I'll add whatever I wish to, if I can find it. So far niether Balloon Mollies nor glofish are anywhere I'm willing to buy from, which is strange, as there a 2 Petsmarts and a Petco nearby me I'm willing to go to. The Captain Nemo's doesn't have those kinds of fish either, which I can understand. Anyhow, we stand at the part where I need to get gravel and a few more orniments and fake plants, plus that volcano I'm still looking for :)

Could you possibly make a bubble volcano? You could buy just the volcano decoration, and if it's hollow stick an airstone down in it. Boom! Automatic bubbles lol.

Homedog, has anyone ever told you that you're brilliant? :D
