20 gallon tank

Jet will be fine in a 20g by himself. Just get your self a good filter and keep on top of the water changes. But if you can I suggest getting a 30g so you can get another fancy goldfish to be his friend. I used to keep my black moor by himself but he started sulking and you could tell he was lonely so I got a bigger tank and got him a friend.

Galen thanks for saying that you like my tank. Right now they are in a 5 and a half gallon tank. I'm hoping that by the end of next week I'll have the 20 gallon tank set up for them.

Jessu I'm not sure whether or not I'll geta larger tank or not. I know jet would like a friend. Right now him and marvin get along great. I sometimes see them swimming together. It's so cute but I don't think I have room for a 30 gallon tank right now. The reason I'm setting up a 20 gallon tank is because I've got an extra 20 gallon tank that is sitting in the shed outside.

having 2 goldfish in a 20G tank is going to be pushing it. possibly doable if you are really on top of the water changes, but they are going to get big and produce a lot of waste.
this is assuming the comet is still going outside and won't be the other fish in the tank.

my first two fish were a black moor and a comet too!

i still have the black moor (there's pictures in the link in my signature) and i gave to comet to a pond where he got very big and happy!!

My first fish was a black moor too and I've read this thread for personal education reasons. BTW, Jet is a pretty black moor.

Thanks for saying Jet (my black moor) is pretty. I'll be moving Marvin into the contanier pond sometime next week. I plan on setting up the 20 gallon tank next week hopefully. I'm having a hard time deciding on what color gravel to use for the new tank. I don't want anything to light but I don't want anything too dark since Jet is so dark himself lol. Any suggestions?
