Hi all--I'm new to this community. I Love cichlids. My tank is 350g-- 96x24x36. Very aggressive CA/SA Cichlid community. Filtered by big wet dry. I keep the set up simple-- large pieces of driftwood provide tons of caves; fake plants hide dedicated mag drive pump for water changes. Fish are all of similar attitude, so very little aggression (occasional "drive by" chase for a second or two, occasional gill flares, no lip locking at all).
Here are some of the big nasties:
15" Trimac (very nasty, king of tank)
3 large Citrinellum (12" yellow/black; 8" yellow/black; 12" solid yellow)
3 6-8" Labiatums (yellow/black/orange-- big lips!)
11" Jag (nasty)
9" Flowehorn (well behaved)
8" motaguense
11" barred Xalio (very nasty, second only to Tmac)
6" parrots (kids love 'em, probably move them out soon to another tank)
3 6" tinfil barbs (only non-cichlids in tank)
