I live in Middletown CT (usa)
So...I'm getting a 20gallon fish tank...here is my stock list I think I may be overpopulating the.....umm...fish tank so tell me what you think

The super awesome fish list
1.Fancy guppies (4) 8in
2.Neon tetras (8) 13in
3.Some sort of Cory (2) 4in
4.Dwarf gourami (2) 5in
5.Ghost shrimp (3) 3in

Looks Ok, I would suggest losing the Guppies as the Neons would probably just nip at them anyway and cut the Neons back to 6. That would be a good stock list IMO.

allright so....

allright but I really love neons I mean like...will 2 more make a huge difference? if so I'll take em out....

well corys are schoolers. therefore need to be in groups of 4 or more... just a heads up on that...

allright...cool guys...so 4 corys....I guess I'll have to take the ghost shrimp down 1...

is this too much now?

oh and for the drift wood it's really cheap compared to the real stuff thanks for the info...!  hey...but do they have that at like petco and stuff?

Instead of the corys you could go with otos(otocinlus catfish), they're smaller and quite fun to watch. And good at getting rid of algea.

As for the driftwood, I haven't seen it at Petco. But if you ordered it from the Drs it would arrive before your tank was cycled and ready for fish.

Yeah I would go with Oto's they are smaller, but I've heard they need a super established tank.

well my personal suggestion would be:

8 neon tetra
6 cory
2 dwarf gourami
3 ghost shrimp

now if it were a 20 gallon long with something like a 30 gallon rated filter; theoretically you could stock another 4-6 school of a small tetra or danio because of a larger tank footprint.
