It's a 20 gal tall, planted with 7 White Cloud Minnows.

I keep the temperature at 72. (Highest for WC i've read)

What would be nice in there that has character?

I 'd need also some clean up crew.

Another small school would be nice (but I'm looking for something else than Danios), but something a little bigger would be nice too (but I'm not into Goldfish really...)

I'd like to get kribs, but I don't think it is a good match with the WC, a usefull little fish that I'd hate to return.

Any suggestions?

3 Peppered Cories would be a good clean up crew and they have tonnes of personality. Also I believe they don't mind it in slightly cooler water.

A feature fish, maybe a Paradise Fish. They're similar to a gourami but don't mind it cool. Great personality (mine show cichlid like behaviour) but they can be a bit aggressive. Both mine get on great with all my other fish though, it depends on the fish I spose.

Not sure about the krib. I think they need a bigger tank. Someone else might know more.

yes. the kribensis will need a bigger tank when they are full grown.

I have a school of white clouds in with cory catfish and otos. The temp is around 72-74 (room temp is the best I can do) but with tons of water mov't for extra oxygenation.

Adding a schooling 5 cories (smaller ones) would add a lot of excitment and mov't to your tank. A paradise fish is exciting but if you do get one have a spare tank ready just in case he turns crazy as mine has. They are fairly aggressive for small fish.

Thanks guys.

I'll be looking for the peppered corys, that would be great.

Also, the Paradise Fish looks amazing, I'll be looking to get a couple (M/F).

Well, I got a couple of Paradise Fish, both under 5cm. They are in there with the 7 WC. No corys for the moment, I won't have space for a big enough school of Peppered anyways...

From what I have read, everything should be fine for a little while until they mature. I'll get a snail and that will be it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the minnows.

a krib would be fine in there, they dont get big

I'd add a ton of shrimp =) Cherry or Japonica shrimp look really nice and do a hell of a job of algae, decaying plant, and fish poop.

If you heavily plant that tank you could have a very purdy tank for those minnows and youc an work on raising the school a bit more. No offense but schooling fish only get better the more you add. Sometimes adding more of a species in a species tank is way more exciting than a school of cory imo.

Shrimp add depth to any species tank o.o

Shrimp would make a good addition to your tank. They're the best cleaners there is. Just make sure you get them big enough so the Paradise Fish don't eat them.

I've got 2 male paradise (in separate tanks) and they only bother fish that are small enough to eat (I feed them feeder fry which they love). I've never seen them hassle my neon tetras, because they move too quick I think.

My paradise fish bites my hand when I am pruning plants. He jumps and bites my fingers when I am getting ready to drop in flake food. They can be nastey , but awsome, fish. Keep your eye on them in any community tank, especially when there are 2 of them.
