So after about a month, I bought my own 20 gallon high aquarium. Since I am not made of money, I have been slowly putting things into it. I just wanted to start a thread for the journey of this tank. I have pictures of it before it had water, pictuers of it with water, and now pictures with my new plants. Last night I went over to Captain Bob's residence, to buy my first set of plants. This man was very nice and enthusiastic about aquariums. He takes great pride in his work and he is a very smart man. Here is his web site for further research. http://www.captainbobsfishtales.com/. I will keep posting pics of my tank, about every week to see how progress goes.

Anyone care to give advice. I will update with a few pictures in a few days. The moss is attached to my log now. And I have a few more tetras.

2 days

Here are some photos after 2 days of adding the plants. They are just now starting to turn bright green. I am very excited to see them come around. In about a week, they should be bright green completely. I also added 4 cardinal tetras. I have 2 neons, 4 cardinals. That is all the fish im going to put in this tank. I will buy a pleco or 2 once I start getting algae.

6 more neons and 4 more cardinals. they like to be in larger groups and if these are the only fish your going to have, i suggest making yourself some good sized schools.

good advice. I just didnt want to have unhappy fish because there are too many of them. I usually try to follow that 1 inch of fish rule. So you think more neons and cards would be good for them?
