210g Build Thread....

The sad part is I actually looked over at my tank trying to figure out exactly which ones are bigger than a quarter.
I got little fish. But they have a nice big playground!

Hey, I'm just trying to get you to put something bigger than a quarter in there.

Grins.. I've told you time and time again.. Unless you plan on owning a zoo you can't have otters..

So where are you at building that Zoo hon..??? LOL

when I reach into the tank to do anything and hide for hours.
But the clowns stay out:D.

Count yourself lucky!
My late largish (4") clown fish would attack me if I put my hand in the tank. It hurt terribly and would startle me into knocking the lights over and spraying water everywhere.

wantvws; Your thread has been a great read. Thanks for the pictures. I know how big a pain pics can be to take, (sans some horrible reflection), crop, stick on your computer, upload, narrate, etc.
Lotta time.

I like small fish as they are more diverse. Presently my tank/s is awaiting a revamp and my inventory is down to only a few fish but dang one of them snuck up on me into a fish that's about 7" long, 6" tall, and 1-1/2" thick, so now I am wondering how to have small fish in the future. So don't rush to a bigger fish, or if you do, make sure it won't "mammoth" on you.

You have a lovely tank.
Thanks again.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed reading this thread...I certainly have enjoyed the adventure so far. I wish I had an update other than the 15 or so hermits that I added for clean up (and some snail removal...unfortunate side effect) but I'm still waiting for some fish from my LFS.
I really like the idea of lots of small to medium fish in this tank rather than just a few large fish. A guy at a local LFS kept trying to sell me eels for this tank....somehow the appeal of a large tank full of eels doesn't quite hold up to the appeal of a peaceful community tank. At least for me it doesn't....
Thanks again for the kind words.
Robbie

Here is the newest addition. I debated for weeks on whether to get this guy or not and I finally gave in. He is doing well although he does not have a taste for mysid shrimp. I have some pellet food that the LFS gave me and I'm going to try some different frozen meaty food tomorrow.
Not sure about a name yet.
Robbie
