OK on my build Im using about 5.5wpg 6500k MH to get to the floor to grow needy forground plants. I cant really use pressurized co2 due to sump gas off......anyone know if Excel since it is a broken down organic carbon would gas off????.........post any ideas or suggestions pls......need to figure out how to feed these plants with the light THX

few new quick pix the first is just an update of the 220 planted community in my home office the other are the new 220 build discus go in in 5 days YAY!!! some pics are how i hid the sump from living room view.

I use Excel in non CO2 tanks,but I don't have any ground cover in those tanks,they are all lowlight.
The cost would be pretty high to use it in a 220,but I don't believe it would gas off,because it is not a gas. PLEASE don't take my word on this though.Rather than using Excel,you would be better off switching your filtration to a canister,and using pressurized CO2.The cost of using Excel in that large of a tank would pay for a canister and the CO2 equipment in no time.
