220g paladarium

WOW, once again! ... WOW!

Your hard work has really paid off!
I just have one question, and its a bit silly... but.. How do you keep the top part of your glass soo clean? Dont you get calcium build up or anyhing?? I have my mudskipper tank water level droped down, and the top part of the glass always seems to get so dirty, Im constantly having to scrape everything off, and it still dosn't get it as crystal clear looking as yours..

Once, again, great job! :)

On this tank, every week or two when I replace some water, I shut the pumps down and drain off a few inches of water out of the main tank. I then use Novus #1 plastic polish to clean the acrylic down to an inch or two below the water line. So far it has kept it looking nice, course it has only been about 3 1/2 months. The fact that I have an overflow in the tank which keeps the water level constant also helps to keep things looking nice.

On a glass paladarium I have which is more neglected (water level varies up to two inches) I use a vinegar saturated paper towl to help dissolve and wipe the calcium deposits off.

BTW, here's a pic of that smaller tank I have. Nice home for my Betta. It's a 20 gallon long and what got me started wtih the paladarium type tank.
