That is a very nice hood germanman I have a 65 hex and its a pain to get down to the bottom and feed my tube anemones I am actually thinking of cutting a third of my 10 inch high hood and hingeing it for easier access but I will have to fiddle with the halide some how not to mention the actinics. I will most definitly think of your hood when I modify mine.
As germanman says tho its hard to explain how to make one of these due to all the corners on a hex tank but do keep in mind your lighting and allow enough room for it especially with halides.
