Thats amazing. I wonder how much it will cost to maintain that thing. :thud: Thats just a liitle over half the size of my pool, and to think of all that raised from the ground into a tank... I'd be saying, "wooooooooooow" for hours. But then, why wouldn't they want that into their house and in the backyard? Better yet, why dont they remodel their house to fit that aquarium since they can afford that big of one? That would be even better. :) I can understand going into a backyard to look at a pond, but i just think aquariums should be in your house. That tank is giving me a lot of thoughts... LoL. And I thought my 240 was big. :sad

What about a pool instead?

What I wonder is why people don't use a pool as the tank? It would not take much modification to add the filtering needed, and with a small greenhouse building over it, heating would not be extreme... Plus it would be easy to get in and out of for cleaning. The only problem would be you wouldn't have easy windows to look in, but so what? You could go swimming with the fish, or just look down in on them. Heck, with stuff these sizes (and costs) it wouldn't be too bad to add a couple underwater cameras to check the whole tank out.

I'd be afraid of the humidity damage that could do to a house, think I'd build a garage/fortress around it and have it half underground and half above ;)

Well, if you've got enough money to make a tank that sized, stock and maintain it, one should be able to humidity-proof the room the tank would be in. Man, that would be awesome tho :D
