yup, he is probably hungry, try feeding some veggies tonight after you turn off the lights,

and rb, my plecs don't hang out near my intake or outake cuz my upside down lives there:) he guards it like a watchdog, but my plecos are always in the DW caves

Not all plecos are the same....its a bull dog pleco....if I read the OP's list as correct....simple search...

Chaetostoma cf. thomsoni appreciates clean, highly oxygenated water, which can usually be provided with regular water changes and a swift return flow from your filter.

SWIFT RETURN.....HI O2...nuff said...

okay, i get it;)
its is a rubberlip, but im pretty sure all plecos love food;)

it has high current bc my filter is actually almost too strong for my tank, the water level is usually all the way to the line of where the filter says minimum water level, i feed zuccini sometimes and i drop in an algae wafer right before lights off which doesnt really matter since he is out all day.

ur filter has a minimum WL?
cool, none of mine do

my plecos are scaredy cats, never out:(
check out my thread

wow, what filter?
