i really cant afford a 55 since im 15 and cant get a job yet so ill have to think about it. but the parrot is only 3 inches. how much bigger can they get?

Neolamprologus pulcher = daffodil

if i get rid of the parrot what can i put in there in its place?

not sure - couldnt find any info on neolamprogus pulcher with searches.

<rant on>you should get rid of that abomination in your tank first and foremost however. If people would stop buying those hybrid monstrosities, maybe the money hungry SOB's that breed them would stop. they would probably come up with something else, but just about anything is better than those freaks of nature<rant off>

ok. I dont know about about african cichlids, but the words neolamprogus and pulcher scream african cichlid, possibly mbuna. but again, I dont know africans very well.
what are the size limits and aggression level of this fish?

you also need more than 2 danios - what type of danios, zebra, pearl, giant?

what are your water parameters - ph temp, etc. with a little more info, it will be alot easier to give recommendations on what to stock it with

zebra 78-80 not shure about the other stuff im buying a water testing kit finally tommarow. thanks

The parrot will get a few inches bigger. Those daffodil cichlids are from Lake Tang so they like very hard water with a ph of 8.0+, they get to about 4 inches so those could be your showcase fish if you take care of them. You could use some crushed coral to raise your ph if you plan to go that way. Otherwise I would get rid of the daffodils and keep the parrot and danios and get a few more danios and some tetras or something small.

there is absolutley no way to keep the fish i got? without buying a new tank?

i really like the daffodils and what is the parrot a hybrid of?
