Greetings,

I'm pursuing a planted setup; I have Co2 (DIY Version for the time being) and want to achieve between 3-4 WPG.

In another thread, I received lots of help choosing the proper amount of lighting, however, with my 30" wide tank, it seems hard to find a 30" wide lighting setup capable of 3-4WPG.

How would you hook up a fixture to a 30" long tank? Help me find a lighting kit that'll fit!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your advice.

std 29 is 30" long
I run power compacts on 2 of mine

you will need a 30" fixture if you don't use DIY aka AH supply. they also sell enclosures.
worth a look see .
or you can use the 24" with the right legs to fit.

Coralife has a 2x65w fixture like your links that is a 30" light. Each light is controlled by a different switch and each has its own power cord. They also sell a single light version of the light as well. They have mounting legs so you can have an open top tank. If you don't want an open top tank then I suggest still using the legs but buying a glass top (I get mine at drfostersmith) to cover the tank.

You can also get 2 of the NO t-5 lights that they sell as well. I have had really good luck growing stuff under those lights as well.

Generally...
20L/29gal is 30"
20H is 24"

check this out - star rider mentioned AH supply - they are excellent
you can build your own housing and make it to fit the tank here is the url:
