29g small pretty fish as many as possible?

Hey not new to the hobby, just been dormant for 3 years. Need some ideas; types of fish, and number of fish for a well cycled 29 gallon with a bio-wheel 300 on it. Iwant it to look as "busy" as possible. Maybe schools of smaller fish... Just as many and as many types as possible. HELP. Chad

7-8 danios--get a mix of the available colors and types. Busy!
7-8 blood fins for color
3-4 skunk cories, to keep the bottom busy and clean.

Possible alternate - substitute bloodfins with tiger barbs. With 3 color morphs, get 7 total varying through regular/green/albino

How about a shoal of 10 neons (or cardinals), 10 glowlight tetras and 6 pygmy cories?

You can't beat colourfulness with the White Cloud Minnows!! When they are adult size theior fins are super eed with a white tip and they flare all the time at each other.

Danios are great and you get get a big school of neons or cardinals or harliquin rasboras.

I always liked White Clouds except that they like colder water. Which fishes go well in colder water? (I guess except for beta and gold fish)

Bettas will stand cooler water, but they do not flourish in it, as goldfish do. If you want a happy, healthy betta, I'd stay in the 70*F range.

Actually guppies tend to prefer a little warmer that cool water fish. If you try livebearers for a coolwater tank, try Gambusia (mosquito fish), or dwarf livebearers. These will do well, since they are found in florida and parts of the east coast.

A great fish that has lots of colors and is busy are Endler's livebearers. These guys are just like guppies but you should not have some of the same problems as with mass produced guppies. Very Bright and pretty colors darting around the tank, add some live plants with some Amano shrimp and Harliquin Rasboras and you have a nice little tank.

you know, a lot of people say that, trickster. i've always had more success with guppies in unheated tanks. in my experience, they have more babies in unheated tanks...for me, anyway. but, obviously, they're not from temperate areas, so in theory, it shouldn't be the way i've observed it!
